On May 14th, AFC Urgent Care North Bergen had the pleasure of participating in the 2nd Annual Nicholas J. Sacco Foundation 5K Run. The event celebrates the wonderful communities of North Bergen and Hudson County and donates all its proceeds towards providing students with scholarships and assisting seniors with tax services. The five-kilometer course runs through the streets of North Bergen, beginning on James J. Braddock North Hudson County Park Drive and finishes inside the racetrack on County Park.
Over 500 people participated in the 5K, which couldn’t have taken place on an even more beautiful day full of sunshine, smiles, and exercise. The team at AFC Urgent Care North 
Bergen set up a tent equipped with a variety of helpful goodies to help replenish runners after completing the run. We distributed hand sanitizer, stress balls and pens, along with a number of revitalizing snacks, such as granola bars, fruit snacks and pretzels.
Everybody was incredibly welcoming and genuinely excited to interact with us at the event. With even more gorgeous weather to look forward to this summer, we hope to participate in many future similar events in the near future.
