Welcome to AFC/TeleCare

First, a note to our dear patients, family and friends:

During this time of great stress and uncertainty due to the current healthcare crisis, we want to reassure everyone that American Family Care (AFC) is here for you with our same patient-centered care and minimal wait times!  American Family Care Medical Centers are open and ready to help you with your acute problems, chronic conditions, accidents, and trauma. Rest assured that all proper procedures, as recommended by the CDC, are in place to protect you from exposure to the Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19). Again, clinic wait times are minimal so you can be seen and treated quickly.

Despite all worries over the Coronavirus Infection (Corvid 19), we also realize that the usual seasonal illnesses and other healthcare problems still occur and require attention.

Seasonal Flu:  This year’s flu season has been particularly aggressive and infectious. The flu is still very active and can mimic COVID-19. Flu infection can contribute to the death of far more people than COVID-19.  The good news is the flu, unlike COVID-19, is easily diagnosed and treated at American Family Care.  If you are currently well, we recommend a flu shot, even if you have had one earlier in the year as its effectiveness will have decreased.

How it Works

For AFC/TeleCare services, follow these steps:

  • Go to afcurgentcare.com/TeleCare and provide requested information.
  • Our AFC/TeleCare staff will then contact you to complete registration.
  • Shortly thereafter, one of our highly qualified providers will contact you to conduct their evaluation and provide or arrange the healthcare services indicated.  If the provider determines a face-to-face visit is necessary, they will work to connect you with your nearest AFC location or other appropriate health care services and venues.
  • In case of the need for Coronavirus COVID-19 screening, an AFC/TeleCare Provider can screen you for possible coronavirus infection and direct you to the nearest AFC location or other healthcare entity based on the results of their evaluation.

Now, as always, American Family Care’s (AFC) Mission:
