Dr. Glenn Kwiat
Lead Physician & Medical Director

Dr. Kwiat serves as the Lead Physician and Medical Director for AFC Urgent Care Clearwater. He is board-certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Kwiat is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and did his residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Kwiat has extensive experience in many facets of primary care having been in private practice for almost twenty years in Ohio. He relocated to the Tampa area in 2008 and has been with AFC Urgent Care Clearwater since its opening. He and his wife Tracey enjoy bike riding, scuba diving, and their saltwater aquarium.

Laura Khawaja, PA-C

Meet board certified Physician Assistant, Laura Khawaja, she serves as one of our main providers here at AFC Urgent Care Clearwater. Laura graduated in 2015 from Keiser University- Fort Lauderdale, with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to completing PA school, she completed a Masters in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology in Brisbane, Australia. Laura has over 3 years of experience in general medicine/urgent care, and has been extensively trained in an amplitude of procedures and specialties. She prides herself in providing compassionate and thorough care, regardless of the nature of your complaint. Additionally, Laura is fluent in Spanish, having been raised in Colombia, South America. Laura enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures, spending time with her husband, 5-year-old dog, Rocky and her newborn son, Maximilian.

Korina Nance, PA-C

Our physician assistant Korina Nance serves as one of our main providers here at AFC Urgent Care Clearwater. She graduated with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at the top of her class from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to PA school, she completed a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Masters in Biomedical and Health Sciences. She has worked predominantly in Urgent Care, but has a background and special interest in Dermatology as well. Korina has been trained in all specialties and is here to help you through whatever medical problems you face. You will feel the compassion and understanding she has for her patients at each visit, no matter how big or small your problem is. She enjoys sprint triathlons, exploring new restaurants around town, and spending time with her two Australian Shepherds.
