Urgent Care vs Emergency Room

"

Even a year later, many people still ask us on occasion what an urgent care center is and how we differ from your primary care or the emergency room. Urgent Care centers were formed to help fill a demand for health care. With primary care Providers becoming booked fast and emergency rooms becoming busier by the day, urgent care centers were created to help in the in between. If you can’t make an appointment with your primary care and your ailment is not severe or life threatening enough for the ER, AFC Urgent Care can fill in the blank

We are a walk-in center with a staff of Providers and medical staff who can treat you non-life threatening injuries or illnesses. We are open extended hours to fit your schedule and accept most insurances. Our center features x-ray equipment and on-site lab services to help with diagnostics and car. Wait times are low and we always accept walk ins. Visit AFC Urgent Care in North Andover today at 129 Turnpike St in North Andover or call 978-470-0800.
