Our Amazing Time at The Thompson School Fun Run & Field Day

"

Last week, AFC Doctors Express Urgent Care North Andover went back to school to join in on the fun at the Thompson School Fun Run. Then, later in the week, we headed back to the Thompson School to participate in their annual Field Day. It was an absolutely fantastic experience going back in time and hanging out with the wonderful teachers and students at Pvt. Albert E. Thompson Elementary School in North Andover, MA.

On June 1st, Thompson School hosted the Fun Run, which we had the honor of being the sponsor for the entire event. Children competed in a friendly race where winners from each grade are awarded a prize. To assist the runners, we handed out bottled water and a variety of different goodies to participants. Between the fun run, the number of other enjoyable activities, snacks, and prizes, the event was a complete success! We look forward to being back next year!

Then on Friday, we returned to Thompson School to help out with Field Day. We donated over 500 waters to students to help keep them hydrated throughout the day. All in all, Field Day was fantastic and served as a perfect celebration to the conclusion to another successful school year.

With the school year just about at an end, we welcome in summer, which means a season of mosquito bites, UV rays and ticks. Make sure to exercise caution each time you go outside this summer, whether it means applying sunscreen, bug repellent, checking yourself for ticks.

It’s also the time for summer camp as well, so if your child’s in need of a physical for summer camp, visit our center any day of the week. If you have any questions, feel free to call us at 978-470-0800.
