It’s Time to Get Your Child Their Summer Camp Physical

"

Once the final school bell sounds, summer begins for the United States’ youth. For millions of American children, their summer is highlighted by camp. Whether it’s sleepaway camp, sports camp, or just traditional day camp, summer camp is a time for new friendships, adventures and learning valuable life lessons.

For insurance reasons, every camp in the United States is required to see proof of a recent physical from each camper. This precaution is taken in order to ensure each camper is healthy enough to participate in summer camp. Typically around this time of the year, parents are signing their children up for summer camp. However, many of them tend to forget about how their child needs a physical. By the time they go to finally schedule their child’s appointment, the pediatrician will be booked for weeks for other camp physicals.

At AFC Urgent Care North Andover, we administer camp physicals on a walk-in basis, seven days a week. Instead of waiting for an inconveniently-timed appointment with your family pediatrician, bring your child to our center, where we can guarantee to get you in-and-out the door as quickly as possible. Because we strongly believe summer camp is a rite of passage for children, we make our camp physicals as affordable and convenient as possible.
