Many health organizations assert that eating local foods is proven to be far healthier than foods oversaturated with preservatives and additives. Many life-threatening health conditions, including pancreatic cancer, are believed to be correlated with preservative-rich foods according to many different studies.

Some people practice eating locally by purchasing foods  at organic food markets, or eating at restaurants who use exclusively local suppliers. A fun and effective way to ensure you’re eating locally is building your very own home garden.
