Do You Treat Workers’ Compensation Injuries?

We do. AFC Dalton works with employers and employees to assess and treat work-related injuries; this includes sprains, cuts, and minor burns. We also offer a wide variety of occupational health services such as pre-employmentDOT and return-to-work physicals, vaccinations and drug and alcohol testing.

If your employer has a workers’ comp plan in place, just let us know when you arrive, and we’ll take care of the paperwork and care coordination.

Do I Need to Make an Appointment First?

Nope! Walk-ins are always welcome at our clinic. We know life doesn’t always stick to a schedule, and we’re here when things come up unexpectedly. That said, if you’d like to cut down your wait time, you can fill out paperwork ahead of time through our website.

Can I Get a Prescription if I Need One?

Absolutely. However, keep in mind, AFC Dalton does not have a pharmacy on-site. Our providers are licensed to prescribe medications when appropriate and depending on the diagnosis; however, we’ll need to send them to a local pharmacy of your choice. Before you leave, an AFC team member will be sure to go over all medication instructions including dosage and side-effects with you, so you can recover safely and quickly.

Will You Accept My Insurance Plan?

Chances are, yes! AFC Dalton accepts most major insurance providers, including Medicare, Medicaid of Georgia, United Health Care, and the US Department of Labor. If you’re unsure about your specific coverage, give us a quick call before your visit, and our team will help clarify. No insurance? We also have self-pay options available.

Do You Provide Preventive Care?

While we don’t offer long-term preventive care like annual wellness exams, we do provide certain services that help keep you on track, like flu shots and other vaccinations, sports physicals, and on-site lab services. If you need to meet a school or job requirement or just want peace of mind about a symptom, we’re here for all your urgent non-life-threatening conditions.
