Our location in South Philly has been a part of the American Family Care network since 2014. There are over 200 AFC Urgent Care centers across the country, including over 10 in the Philadelphia metro area. Our center, as well as our other area locations, strive to provide you the highest quality care when you need it, with no appointment required. You’ll notice our name has changed from Doctors Express Urgent Care to AFC Urgent Care.

What Has Changed Since You’Ve Changed From Doctors Express South Philly To AFC Urgent Care South Philly?

You will notice a new and improved website, different signage outside and indoors, as well as updated colors to match the other centers in our network.

What Will Remain The Same At AFC Urgent Care South Philly?

First and foremost, you will still receive the same high-quality healthcare at convenient hours. We will not be limiting our hours of operation and will be open seven days a week. The same great staff will be here to treat you; they’ll just be wearing shirts with AFC Urgent Care logos on them. We will still accept all of the previous insurance plans we previously took, and the co-pays and co-insurance will remain the same unless your carrier has changed them. In fact, we likely have started to accept a few more carriers than we did before!
