Digital X-Ray Services in Paramus, NJ

With our on-site digital x-ray equipment, we give you a CD copy of your x-rays when you leave. There are a number of benefits of digital X-rays over traditional film X-rays, including:

  • Digital images can be computer-enhanced. Therefore larger, clearer, color-enhanced images can result in a more accurate diagnosis.
  • You are exposed to less radiation (up to 90% less) than traditional X-rays.
  • Digital radiography is better for the environment. It doesn’t use photo chemicals and traditional film, thus eliminating waste.

Visit AFC Urgent Care Paramus for more information on our digital x-ray services. We’re open seven days a week at convenient hours to fit your busy schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am – 8pm and weekends from 9am – 6pm.

AFC Urgent Care FAQs

  • Is it dangerous to get an X-ray?

X-rays do use small amounts of radiation, but they’re generally safe for adults and children. That being said, there are some cases where they can be damaging – to developing babies, for instance. Your AFC provider will take your circumstances into account and answer your unique questions about safety.

  • How do I know if I’ll need an X-ray?

Your local AFC team can help you answer that question when you contact them. If you’ve experienced a fall or other injury and are in pain, an X-ray could help determine the best course of treatment. They’re also used in a variety of other circumstances.

  • How long does it take to get an X-ray?

At AFC, we always strive to get you in and out as quickly as possible, and the X-ray itself should only take around 15 minutes
