The start of summer or a school year is a busy time for children of all ages. Combined with the beginning of a sports season, it can be nearly impossible to get an appointment time for your child to get a physical exam. With no physical exam, it is unlikely your child can participate in a sport when it starts, and they may even miss school days. Convenient appointment times with your regular doctor get booked up months in advance. Instead of taking a day off from work to fit the only appointment time left, visit AFC Urgent Care Havertown. Our board-certified physicians can conduct a thorough medical physical for your child without needing an appointment. Physicals are also available for those applying for a Driver's License at a DMV.

Many parents have come to our facility, having only learned earlier in the day that a physical is due in a couple of days. If you find yourself in this unfortunate situation, or maybe you have just forgotten you need a sports physical for yourself, do not panic. Just bring in the required physical forms, and our physicians will complete all paperwork after a thorough evaluation. Our on-site lab allows us to quickly process any tests or screenings if required.

You will leave our facility with completed physical forms, and we can forward your examination results, including any tests, to your primary physician for their records. Getting a physical before a sport is vital to ensure the safety and health of you or your child before participating. We will look for underlining or undiagnosed conditions that may endanger your health if you or your child joins a team. Our goal is to ensure you are as healthy as possible so you can participate safely.

AFC Urgent Care Havertown is located at 115 W. Eagle Road, Havertown, PA 19083. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 8 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm.
