Neither is an expensive trip to the emergency room where you will wait hours to be seen. Receive prompt urgent pediatric care today at AFC Urgent Care Havertown in Delaware County. No appointment is needed to see our board-certified physicians. Our state of the art facility is open seven days a week, and our kid-friendly environment will put everyone at ease. It is our goal to get you in and out as quickly as possible so you can get on with your day. Our extended weekday hours and weekend hours means you do not have to take a day off to see our doctors for your child to receive treatment.
Our urgent care center is also available for common, everyday services you need on demand. Does your child need a physical for school or a sports activity, but they have only remembered to bring the forms home today? There is no need to scramble for an appointment. Just bring in the required paperwork, and we will fill out all forms after a thorough medical exam. Have you learned your child’s immunizations are not up to date? Bring them in with your vaccine records, and we’ll make sure they are protected from dangerous preventable diseases. We will forward the updated records to your pediatrician at your request.
Our urgent care center is also equipped with an onsite laboratory. Not sure if your child has the flu or strep throat? We have rapid tests available that can be processed while you wait. Once we have the information, we can prescribe the needed medications for these contagious diseases. Another powerful diagnostic tool we have available every day of the week is our digital x-ray. If your child has taken a severe fall, let us take an x-ray of the area to look for a fracture. We’ll send you home with copies of the images. Our Delco based facility can also securely transmit any test results or x-ray images to your pediatrician for further analysis.
AFC Urgent Care Havertown is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 8 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm. We accept most major insurances and have self-pay options for those who are currently uninsured.
