A urinalysis is a test of your urine. It's used to detect and manage a wide range of disorders, such as urinary tract infections, kidney disease and diabetes. A urinalysis involves checking the appearance, concentration and content of urine. A urine test can also be used to determine if a patient is pregnant.
Strep, flu and COVID-19 can all be tested with a swab. COVID-19 and Flu tests are done with a nasal swab, and the Strep test is done with a throat swab. The procedures are not painful but they may be uncomfortable. The results of the strep and flu tests are quick and you may be sent home with a prescription for an antibiotic. We offer both Rapid COVID tests and PCR tests depending on the test you and your provider determine is required.
Blood tests are a standard part of routine and preventive healthcare, and they are often ordered in urgent care or emergency situation to determine what may be causing your illness. AFC Duncan offers routine blood tests ordered by your provider or needed to diagnose your condition.

Many employers use this method as a pre-employment protocol or post-accident precautionary.
A comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) is a set of blood tests that can provide you and your healthcare provider with important information about your health.
