Stitches are extremely important if you have an open wound that splits the skin to a point where it may not be able to repair itself in the correct amount of time it needs. Signs you need Stitches
Some signs that indicate that you may need stitches are:
- The cut is very deep
- More than a half inch wide
- Has Ragged edges
- Some materials are in the wound such as grass or Gravel
- Rust or animal bite
- Wound keeps bleeding

Some illness you may get from not getting stitches when needed are:
