Curious about what AFC Athens has to offer? Here’s some of our most common questions, and answers! Our clinic accepts walk-ins every day.
Whether it’s a sudden sore throat after touring the Swift Museum Foundation, a sprained ankle, or a needed X-ray, knowing where to go can save you time, money, and stress. At AFC Athens, we hear a lot of the same questions. Whether first-time patients or returners, we’re happy to answer anything!
Here’s seven of the most commonly asked questions by people, just like you!
1. How Long Will I Have to Wait?
At AFC Athens, we pride ourselves on getting you in and out as quickly as possible. We accept walk-in patients, which can change your wait time depending on how busy we are. Most visitors can be seen in as little as 15 minutes or as long as 30 minutes. Our goal is to move efficiently without compromising care. So, while the wait might be longer than 30 minutes, it’s still shorter than the ER.

2. Can I Take My Kids to the Clinic?
Yes! We see patients of all ages beginning at six months or older. Whether it’s a high fever, a sports injury, or a back-to-school physical, our medical team is trained to care for your whole family.
We know how stressful it can be when your child isn’t feeling well, and we’re here to make the process smoother for both of you. So, if your child needs to be treated or they’re just sitting in the waiting room with you, our staff at AFC Athens will provide a safe and friendly environment.
