Seasonal Flu Shots at AFC Urgent Care Aberdeen

Seasonal Flu Shots in Aberdeen, NJ

The average flu season usually starts around early fall and lasts up until late spring. The best line of defense from getting the flu is to get vaccinated annually. At AFC Urgent Care Aberdeen, we provide seasonal flu shots to protect you for the upcoming flu season.

Even the healthiest of us need a seasonal flu shot, but it’s especially recommended for the following individuals to receive an annual flu shot:

  • Children Over 6 Months of Age
  • The Elderly/Seniors
  • Pregnant Women
  • Individuals with Chronic Health Conditions such as Asthma

Protect yourself by making sure you and your loved ones get a seasonal flu shot this year. Getting the flu shot won’t actually give you the flu, as the vaccine is made from a weakened or inactivate form of the virus.

We offer our patients seasonal flu shots on a Walk-In Basis, so you don’t need an appointment to be seen. You can stop by our urgent care center weekdays from 8 AM - 8 PM, and weekends from 8am-5pm. We accept most major Health Insurances and provide low-cost flu shots for those without. For more information about the services we provide, please call us at (732) 583-5100.
