Passports on map on tableAt AFC Urgent Care South Plainfield, our medical director, Dr. Browne, has been appointed by the US Citizens and Immigration Services (USCIS) as a Civil Surgeon.
This designation allows Dr. Browne to perform immigration physicals, which are required for anyone applying for citizenship, permanent residence, or a green card. Immigration physicals may only be performed by a registered USCIS-designated civil surgeon and are used to determine whether the patient has any immediate health conditions that require attention.
The entire immigration physical exam is performed in our center, where we have the capability to perform all the requisite blood tests and TB tests. Our clinical staff can administer any vaccines and take chest x-rays, if required. Once the examination is complete, our physician will fill out the I-693 Form for the patient to submit to USCIS.
Located just 5.6 miles away from Edison, NJ, our center serves as the perfect resource for residents in Edison, NJ.
