Seasonal Flu Shots at AFC Urgent Care Cedar Grove

Seasonal Flu Shots in Cedar Grove, NJ

Flu season typically starts around early fall and can last up until late spring. To protect yourself from seasonal strains of the flu, it’s recommended that everyone receive an annual flu shot.

At AFC Urgent Care Cedar Grove, we provide seasonal flu shots to protect you for the upcoming flu season! Even the healthiest of us need a seasonal flu shot, but it’s especially recommended that the following individuals receive their annual flu shot:

  • Children over 6 months of age
  • The Elderly/Seniors
  • Pregnant Women
  • Individuals with Chronic Health Conditions such as Asthma

Getting your seasonal flu shot is your best line of defense of contracting the flu. Patients cannot contract the flu from the flu vaccine since it is made from a weakened or inactivated form of the virus.

Our Urgent Care Center provides seasonal flu shots on a walk-in basis, so you don’t need an appointment to be seen. Simply stop by our urgent care center any day during the week during our convenient hours! We accept most major Health Insurances and provide low-cost seasonal flu shots for those without.

For more information about the services we provide, please call us at (973) 239-2300.
