DOT Physicals

Most commercial drivers are required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to complete a physical exam before a commercial driver’s license may be issued or renewed. AFC Urgent Care can perform these DOT physicals on location at our urgent care center in West Orange, NJ. We will complete the exam and assist you in filling out the required documentation. There are several requirements for each individual driver to meet.

New Jersey DOT standards include:

• Minimum of 20/40 vision
• Ability to hear a forced whisper from 5 feet away
• Maximum of 140/90 blood pressure
• No evidence of using habit-forming drugs
