Pre-Employment Physicals

Many times, employers may request an applicant to receive a pre-employment physicals before they are hired. These are not uncommon as they help employers make sure the applicant can perform the duties of a physically demanding job. Some individuals can have health conditions that can hinder their work performance.

Pre-employment exams can help decrease the possibility of injury due to the inability to perform the duties which in turn reduces worker's compensation claims. If your company is looking to conduct pre-employment physicals, refer your candidates to our center (AFC Urgent Care Stamford). We can perform these physicals in our offices. Our walk-in clinic with extended night and weekend hours allow your applicants to find a time on their schedule with no appointment necessary.

Our exam includes:

• Review of medical history
• Strength and flexibility testing
• Vision and hearing testing
• Drug testing

*Please note pre-employment physicals will have to be seen no later than 2 hours prior to closing: Cut off time for physicals will be 6:00 PM everyday.
