Do I have to make an appointment to be treated at AFC Urgent Care?
A. No, you can walk-in during our normal business hours (every day 8am to 8pm) and be seen by one of our board-certified providers without an appointment.
Do you take my insurance?
A. We participate with most insurance carriers. Please refer to our full list of accepted insurances.
Do I need a referral?
A. No, you are not required to have a referral to be seen by a providerat AFC Urgent Care.
How much will the visit cost if I have no insurance?
A. There is a range of costs for the office visit depending on the complexity of the medical problem. We offer discounted rates for patients without medical insurance. Please call our center at 781 430-8161 for further information on our rates.
Is Urgent Care the same as the Emergency Room?
A. AFC Urgent Care is an Emergency Room alternative for non-life threatening illness or injury or when you’re unable to see your primary care physician. Please refer to our Home Page for a comprehensive list of what we treat.

The main advantage of choosing AFC is our short wait times – often under 15 minutes. The total length of your visit will depend on what you’re being seen for, but many patients can be in and out of our clinics in around 30 minutes.
