Do I need an appointment for a sports physical?
No appointment is needed for a sports physical. However, if specific forms need to be filled out or signed, please bring them in at the time of the physical. We can accommodate last-minute requests, so there are no delays for someone starting a sport.

Are there any sports for which a doctor will not give a sports physical?
Our sports physical should satisfy the requirements of any local school, camp, amateur, or semi-professional sport. Feel free to call if there is a specific thing you would like to be checked during a physical.

How long will the exam take?
AFC offers some of the lowest wait times around, with many patients getting in to see a provider in less than 15 minutes. Your exam will probably take around a half hour. High patient volume may make these time longer.

If during your physical the provider sees anything that needs further attention, they will discuss those options with you. We do offer x-ray and lab services which if needed, could be done at the time of your physical
