Lab Testing in Downingtown, PA

AFC Urgent Care is a walk-in clinic that provides all types of lab work with quick results.

At AFC Urgent Care Downingtown, we have an onsite state of the art laboratory available seven days a week. No appointment is needed to access this lab for a variety of diagnostic tests. Our board-certified doctors use this lab to help them with their diagnoses when you visit our facility. When you come in with an infection or illness, we have several tests available that help us confirm it, further refining our doctor’s diagnosis. In many cases, tests can be processed while you wait, allowing you to leave with the answers you need in a single visit.

Our lab is also available if you need testing done as part of a physical. We can conduct drug if they are needed as a pre-employment requirement. We will give you a complete report and a copy to hand into your employer. If you are coming in for a DOT Physical, all tests and screenings associated with this physical are processed on-site in our lab.

Some of the tests we can perform at AFC Urgent Care Downingtown at our lab or collect samples to send out for testing include:

• Lipid Panel
• Urinalysis - Tests can check for pregnancy and urinary tract infections and are used for drug screening.

• COVID-19 - PCR AND RAPID ANTIGEN

In some cases, results from lab tests take several days to process to return accurate results. When this occurs, you can expect quick communication from our staff, letting you know your test results are ready. Some tests and screenings do take several hours to process. Please call before you visit our center and talk with our staff about the kind of testing you seek. We want to make sure we can serve you promptly. Note: Some tests may not be available towards the end of the day.
