Yorktown Heights, NY (February 4, 2026) – AFC Urgent Care Yorktown is proud to celebrate its 10-year anniversary of providing high-quality, convenient health care to the Yorktown Heights community. Since opening its doors in February 2016, the center has remained committed to delivering accessible, patientcentered urgent care close to home.
Led by Medical Director Dr. Rajesh Gupta, AFC Urgent Care Yorktown was founded with the goal of creating stronger continuity of care and deeper connections with local patients—an approach that continues to guide the practice a decade later.
“When we opened ten years ago, my goal was to be more involved with my patients and truly serve this community,” said Dr. Gupta. “Ten years later, that mission hasn’t changed. We are grateful for the trust our patients have placed in us and proud to continue providing compassionate, reliable care to our neighbors.”
Over the past decade, AFC Urgent Care Yorktown has treated tens of thousands of patients, offering a full range of urgent care services including illness and injury treatment, on-site laboratory testing, digital X-ray services, physicals, vaccinations, and occupational health services. The center continues to provide care under one roof, helping patients avoid long emergency room waits while receiving high-quality medical attention.
Dr. Gupta has also remained deeply committed to serving veterans and their families. AFC Urgent Care Yorktown proudly accepts Tricare and continues to work with local veterans’ organizations to promote health awareness, access, and education throughout the community.
A long-time Yorktown resident, Dr. Gupta and his wife Seema have raised their two sons in the community and remain active supporters of local organizations and initiatives.
Today, AFC Urgent Care Yorktown accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, and offers affordable self-pay options. The center is open seven days a week and remains dedicated to providing convenient, state-of-the-art care for patients of all ages.
