WHY?: November is the ideal month to receive a flu shot for optimum protection from the flu virus. The flu can lead to life-threatening complications, especially for those with medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and heart disease, During recent flu seasons, between 80% and 90% of flu related deaths have occurred in people 65 years and older.
