AFC Urgent Care COVID-19 Tests
PCR Swab tests and IgG Antibody Tests
Both Available Without a Doctor’s Prescription
AFC is now offering COVID-19 Antibody testing. This new test detects IgG antibody in blood which indicates that the individual has been exposed to Covid-19 also referred to as the CoronaVirus.
The process includes answering a brief COVID-19 related questionnaire, a detailed history and medical examination of each patient with an AFC provider. Based on the evaluation, the provider will determine if the patient needs a Nasopharyngeal swab for PCR, an IgG antibody test or both.
Drive-up COVID-19 PCR Swab and Antibody testing is performed daily during normal center hours. While the swab test can be performed as a drive-up test, serology testing is done inside the centers. Patients are thoroughly pre-screened in an outside triage area prior to entering the facility to ensure the safety of patients and staff. AFC Urgent Care accepts all major insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid, Husky, Tricare and VA Benefits as well as low self-pay options for those without insurance.
