Not only is urgent care available at our walk-in clinic, but we have a variety of other everyday health care services as well, with no appointment needed.

The insurance company determines the fee you must pay to see a providerat our clinic. This fee is generally printed on your insurance card next to the other standard fees for the emergency room or your primary care provider. Most insurances require a smaller payment for an urgent care center than an emergency room. Additional charges may be possible if you need diagnostic services like x-rays or lab work. Some insurance companies will cover these charges, but others do not. We will do our best to submit all claims to your insurance company and provide you with the paperwork of your visit to our clinic if you need to make a claim yourself.

The urgent care fee generally only applies when you need urgent care medicine from a provider. Other services, like a physical or a flu shot, will not trigger an urgent care fee.

Can the uninsured receive treatment at your walk-in clinic?

We certainly welcome any uninsured patients from the Merion Station area for treatment. Our clinic offers discounted self-pay rates for services. The fee to see one of our board-certified provider is $125. The final charge for your visit to our urgent care center will be determined by the services you need. Our staff will go over any additional costs with you before we begin any treatment. Payment in full is need before we begin any treatment or service.

Do you have to pay to receive care at your walk-in clinic?

Our walk-in urgent care center is not a free clinic. We must receive payment before we can treat patients. For a free clinic, check with the county department of health for more information.

What does your walk-in clinic treat?

When you come from Merion Station to our walk-in clinic, we can treat you and your family for a variety of health care issues. Common illnesses we see include strep throat, colds, flu, sore throats, and other upper respiratory illnesses. We can help if these illnesses are presenting their more severe symptoms to the point where over the counter medication is not giving you the results you want. We also can see you if you suffer from strains, sprains, and fractures. Note that Grade 3 strains and sprains where the muscles or ligament have completely torn and open fractures where the bone has pierced the skin must be seen by specialists or an emergency room. These provider and facilities are better equipped to administer emergency care and emergency medicine. Minor to moderate strains and sprains and simple fractures can be treated at our state of the art urgent care center. Your minor injury can be treated easily at our clinic.

Our walk-in clinic is equipped with an onsite lab and digital x-ray. Both are available to our provider and you seven days a week to help with your diagnosis. Furthermore, no appointment is needed for a flu test, strep throat test, or an x-ray.
