Born and raised in Durham, I completed my undergraduate degree from NC State with highest honors. As a pre-med student I volunteered as a medical relief worker in India and participated in the U.N. polio eradication campaign. I received my medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2010. I then completed my medical residency in Family Medicine from Long Beach Hospital in Long Island, NY where I graduated as Medical Resident of the Year in 2013.

I moved back to the triangle where I am proud to serve my local community as an urgent care physician. I emphasize to my patients preventative medicine as a holistic approach. I speak Hindi, Urdu and have a basic command of Spanish. I am a passionate foodie, an avid NBA fan, and enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with my family.
