Bridgeport Main Minor Injury Treatment at AFC Urgent Care

Treatment for Minor Injuries in Bridgeport, CT

Whether you’re out on the soccer field, camping, raking the leaves, or shoveling snow, there’s a small potential for injury at any given time. Fortunately, AFC Urgent Care Bridgeport is here to treat your minor injuries – and do it at a time that’s most convenient for you! Sprains, strains, fractures, cuts, and bruises usually result in intense pain, especially with touch or movement. When you visit our Urgent Care Center, you can expect:

  • A thorough examination of the injury
  • An x-ray to determine if there is a break or fracture
  • A treatment plan that may include splints, prescription, or referral depending upon the medical recommendation of the provider

Our walk-in clinic is open seven days a week, with convenient night and weekend hours, so you can visit us even when your doctor’s office is closed. We’re also a great alternative to the emergency room, with lower costs and wait times, so you can get in and out and back to your regular Routine without breaking the bank. We’re equipped with an on-site digital x-ray system, so we can provide you with an accurate diagnosis without having to run all over town for comprehensive care.

We accept most major Health Insurances and provide low-cost care for those without. If you suspect a broken bone, don’t hesitate to visit our urgent care center. Both of our offices are open seven days a week, from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

AFC Urgent Care FAQs

  • Why choose AFC for Urgent Care?

With state-of-the-art centers and a professional medical team, AFC provides on-site X-rays, labs, procedures, and more!

  • What's the difference between AFC Urgent Care and emergency room services?

Urgent care is for medical conditions that require prompt attention but do not pose an immediate threat to your health or life. Here is a simple rule of thumb: if your medical issues(s) are life threatening, call 911, or go directly to a hospital emergency room. If not, an urgent care center such as AFC is an excellent alternative.
