AFC Urgent Care West Hartford is now offering telehealth! If you do not feel comfortable coming to a center or are exhibiting a fever, cough, shortness of breath or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, telemedicine can be used to go through your symptoms and determine a diagnosis.

If you are interested in signing up for a telemedicine appointment, please fill out this form. A member of our staff will get back to you shortly to complete registration before your phone call. Telemedicine appointments are available seven days a week during our regular hours of 8:00AM-8:00PM Monday-Friday and 8:00AM-5:00PM Saturday and Sunday.

It is important to note that some conditions and illnesses cannot be diagnosed over telemedicine and may require an in-person visit to our walk-in urgent care center. If you have questions about what can and cannot be diagnosed over telemedicine, please call our center at 860-986-6440.

Telehealth Visits With Afc Urgent Care West Hartford FAQs

  • Why choose AFC for Urgent Care?

With state-of-the-art centers and a professional medical team, AFC provides on-site X-rays, labs, procedures, and more!

  • What's the difference between AFC Urgent Care and emergency room services?

Urgent care is for medical conditions that require prompt attention but do not pose an immediate threat to your health or life. Here is a simple rule of thumb: if your medical issues(s) are life threatening, call 911, or go directly to a hospital emergency room. If not, an urgent care center such as AFC is an excellent alternative.
