Welcome to our new telemedicine page!
Not all injuries and illnesses can wait until your in-person doctor’s appointment. This is where AFC Urgent Care can greatly benefit your overall well-being. With our telehealth services in Durham-Southpoint, NC, we can address your concerns quickly and easily, without you ever even needing to drive into the clinic. Here’s what you need to know about our services and what AFC is doing to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
In an effort to minimize the spread of infection, we are now able to provide you with an opportunity to hold a telemedicine video visit with one of our providers. This will allow our providers to facilitate health care virtually without an in-person visit. After all, we all live busier lives than ever before, and we want to ensure that you have a slew of tools at your disposal to accommodate your specific schedule. Telemedicine allows you to talk with certified healthcare providers with little notice, and with our virtual healthcare system, we can even prescribe essential medications for treatment.
An additional benefit to booking a telehealth visit for yourself is that you don’t need to worry about being around other sick individuals in your environment. In the wake of devastating viruses, it’s more important to be aware of the potential for infection around us, particularly for those with a compromised immune system. AFC works to keep our patients comfortable and reduce the risk of further illnesses. That’s why we use our telemedicine system as a way to help protect potential patients and ensure that they have the best chances of a speedy recovery.
