Waiting for a physical appointment can be exhausting. Many doctors book up months in advance, so getting in to see your regular doctor for a Routine checkup is not always easy. In some cases, you cannot afford to wait, like when your employer requires proof that you are in good health.

What do AFC providers look for during physicals?
A physical exam takes an overview of your health, and providers are looking to make sure that things seem to be functioning normally. For instance, they take a visual exam of your eyes, ears, nose, and throat, and feel for lumps. They use instruments to check your reflexes and heart rate.

What types of questions will I have to answer?
Your AFC provider might ask some simple questions about your health history, diet, drug and alcohol use, and so forth.

How long should I expect to be in your office for my physical exam?
AFC clinics are streamlined to minimize wait times. We’ll get you in to see a provider as soon as possible, and your exam could take around 30 minutes.
