At AFC, we vaccinate patients starting at 12 months old, so your whole family can get the care they need in a single visit. While many pharmacies can't vaccinate young children, our team is fully equipped to help.

We offer convenient walk-in vaccinations, meaning you don't need an appointment or a referral, and you don't have to be an existing patient. If you have a vaccination record, bring it, and we'll give you an updated one before you leave.

Which Vaccines Do You Need?

Most people arrive knowing they need something, not knowing exactly what. A provider can work that out with you during the visit.

Getting a Child Ready for School or Childcare

Schools and childcare centers set their own vaccine requirements, and they often vary by state and sometimes by district. Bring whatever form or list they gave you, and we'll work through it together to identify the immunizations your child needs.

If you don't have your child's record, we can usually help you track down what vaccines have already been administered before deciding what's due.

Catching Up as an Adult

Plenty of adults are behind on their vaccinations, usually because nobody's reminded them since school. A tetanus booster (Tdap) is recommended every ten years, and many adults are also due for a hepatitis B series.

If you're not sure what you've had, come in, and a provider will go through it with you.

Vaccination Cost and Insurance

Most plans cover routine vaccinations as preventive care at no cost to you. Some adult vaccines depend on your age and your insurance plan. If you're paying for yourself, we'll tell you the price before we move forward with any vaccinations.

   Walk in or book online. Bring a vaccination record if you have one.

2. Quick Review

   A provider will check what vaccinations are due, ask about allergies and any past reactions, and confirm you're well enough today.

3. The Shot

   Vaccinations take just a few seconds, and usually, you can get more than one in the same visit if you need to.

4. Records

   You'll leave with an updated vaccination record for school, childcare, or work.

How to Prepare for a Vaccination

• Bring a photo ID and your insurance card
• Have your vaccination record, or your child's, ready, if you have one
• Don't forget any immunization forms your school, childcare, or employer has given you
• Wear short sleeves, or something easy to roll up
• Tell us about any allergies or any reaction to a previous vaccine
