Job Title : Staff Physician

Job Description (Summary):

To provide high quality care of all patients. To assist in directing staff in the support of the care of our patients.

Note: A licensed physician is required to be on site during all operating hours.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality patient care.
  • Manage all patient care while on shift.
  • Supervise all staff while on shift.
  • Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Process biological specimens when needed.

Other Duties And Responsibilities As Assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (w/ ER or UC experience)
  • Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Active and current medical licensure in state of practice
  • Active and current DEA number and state controlled substance certificate, as needed
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently

Physical Demands/Work Environment (Optional):

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

Job Title : Medical Receptionist

Job Description (Summary):

To accurately check patients in and out by verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining patient records and accounts. Maintain patient flow. Provide positive patient relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare The Clinic For Opening Each Day By:
    • Being at work 15 minutes before you are scheduled
    • reviewing the facility
    • turning phones back to on
    • turn "open sign on
    • turn TV on
    • cleaning lobby and work area
    • restocking bathroom supplies
    • opening all computer systems applications
    • preparing new patient registration packets and required documents
    • Receiving and sorting faxes and distributing accordingly to where they belong
    • Turn outside signs (Road and building) on
  • Greet patients, provide patients initial paperwork, and obtain copies of insurance and identification cards.
  • Register patients, update patient records, and verify insurance accurately and timely
  • Determine, collect and process patient payments and address collection and billing issues
  • Obtain consent to social marketing and reviews communications
  • Discharge Patients Accurately And Timely By:
    • collecting balances Make sure all the charges for FFS patients are complete before letting patient go
    • providing patient documentation
    • following discharge procedures
  • Follow Company Procedures Related To Workers' Compensation Patients:
    • Verify WC visit authorization
    • Frist report of injury
    • Follow-up work comp visit
  • Follow Company Procedure Related To Occupational Medicine Patients:
    • Perform Drug Screens
    • Perform BAT Screens
    • Be ready for pick up couriers
  • Complete Closing Procedures By:
    • preparing closing documentation
    • scanning required reports
    • Balance daily patient charges (cash, check, credit cards) against system reports
    • Taking trash out
    • making sure all doors are locked and no patient is in the facility before you leave
    • doors should not be locked before 7:55 PM unless authorized by Mansoor, Dr. Mansoor, or Tahir
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation, after initial registration go back to the record and make sure the record is complete
  • Respond promptly to customer needs, provide excellent customer service, assist patients with follow-up appointments, and fulfill medical documentation requests
  • Follow Correct Telephone Communication Procedures And Protocols:
    • Follow HIPAA
    • No medical advice can't tell you if you should come or not to the clinic
    • Patient was seen today and have a question send to back
    • No patient should be allowed to talk to the provider unless alerted by the provider
    • You are not authorize to confirm any order for anything scam calls
    • Courtesy calls take message and let me know

Job Title : Medical Assistant

Job Description (Summary):

Medical Assistants are primarily responsible for assisting our board-certified physicians with the provision of patient medical care. Our Medical Assistants report to the staff physician on-duty for all clinical matters and the center administrator for all non-clinical matters.


Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Assisting staff physician on duty with patient care as requested
  • Assisting with front-office administrative duties (e.g., greeting and registering patients, copying insurance cards, verifying co-pays, etc.)
  • Performing patient triage by taking vital signs of newly registered patients
  • Performing point of care diagnostic tests
  • Documenting relevant patient data into electronic medical records in a timely manner
  • Collecting biological specimens and processing them in the laboratory
  • Performing pharmacy and CLIA approved lab procedures, maintenance and controls
  • Tracking and re-stocking all necessary urgent care supplies and medications
  • Discharging patients with detailed instructions
  • Maintaining efficient and organized patient flow
  • Following proper protocols and conducting patient call-backs
  • Ensuring exam rooms are cleaned following each patient visit
  • Perform basic diagnostic x-rays
  • Ensure the x-ray equipment is operationally maintained
  • Adhering to all center policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant Certification or Associate Degree
  • Phlebotomy training
  • Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA
  • Prior urgent care or emergency room experience a plus
  • Active and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Familiar with occupational medicine and travel medicine a plus
  • Effective and compassionate communicator with co-workers, patients and family
  • High-energy individual with a professional appearance and attitude
  • Team-player able to multi-task effectively
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Job Description:

X-ray technologists are primarily responsible for performing all diagnostic x-rays and assisting with the provision of patient medical care. Our x-ray technologists report to the staff physician on-duty for all clinical matters and the center administrator for all non-clinical matters.


Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Assisting staff physician on duty with patient care as requested
  • Performing all diagnostic x-rays
  • Ensuring that the x-ray equipment is operationally maintained
  • Ensuring that x-ray monitoring badges are up-to-date
  • Assisting with front-office administrative duties (e.g., greeting and registering patients, copying insurance cards, verifying co-pays, etc.)
  • Maintaining efficient and organized patient flow
  • Performing patient triage by taking vital signs of newly registered patients
  • Escorting patients to exam rooms that are setup based on patient's initial complaint
  • Performing point of care diagnostic tests
  • Documenting relevant patient data into electronic medical records
  • Completing all charts and medical records accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collecting biological specimens and processing them in the laboratory
  • Performing pharmacy and CLIA approved lab procedures, maintenance and controls
  • Tracking and re-stocking all necessary urgent care supplies and medications
  • Discharging patients with detailed instructions

  • Active and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Familiar with occupational medicine and travel medicine a plus
  • Effective and compassionate communicator with co-workers, patients and family
