Official USCIS Medical Exams by Immigration Certified Doctors
Englewood Immigration Physicals at AFC Urgent Care
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires you to get a full immigration physical exam. This exam is to make sure you don’t have physical issues or mental disorders that may prevent you from being approved. Our physicians understand that USCIC doctors must follow the government’s strict guidelines and procedures for your exams. You can rest assured that your forms and report will be done correctly.
What to Expect at Your Immigration Physical Exam
If you are not fluent in English, please plan to bring your translator with you to all visits!
Bring your current passport, work authorization card (if any), and any paperwork you have received from the immigration service (USCIS).
The civil surgeon will evaluate your application, and order any required testing. That may include blood tests, and x-rays. The civil surgeon will also review your vaccination history and determine if you need any vaccinations.
AFC offers some of the lowest wait times around, with many patients getting in to see a provider in less than 15 minutes. Your exam will probably take around a half hour.
We’ll complete your paperwork as required, but if it’s something we can help with we might be able to provide you with treatment on the spot. With in-house labs at many locations, you could be on your way without the need for a second visit.
You’ll be required to check in separately and apart from your immigration physical, to be seen and evaluated as a patient for evaluation and treatment of your condition.
You can stop into any AFC, any time. Check out our list of locations to find the one nearest you.
Your immigration physical paperwork must be completed at the location it was started at.
