The Right Care. Right Now.

AFC Short Pump is now offering COVID-19 vaccinations.

Who can get a COVID-19 vaccine at this time?

We are following local and state health department guidelines for vaccine distribution.

Central Virginia, including Richmond, has expanded into Phase 2 of COVID-19 vaccinations.

This means everyone, 16 and older, who lives or works in Virginia will be eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine at a participating American Family Care clinic.

I meet the criteria for the COVID-19 vaccination. How do I get it at AFC?

In order to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, you must call us to make your appointment. Right now we will be booking appointments for Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Insurance information will be collected for all private payers, Medicare, and Medicaid. People with no insurance will be charged an administration fee at the time of service.

What vaccine is offered at American Family Care?

Availability will vary. Some vaccines require two doses, if this is the case you will receive additional information about scheduling the second one when you are here.
