Scott Long, PA-C
Scott Long, PA-C, is a certified physician associate who serves patients at American Family Care in
Greensboro, North Carolina as an advanced practice provider.
Scott received his bachelor of science degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
After several years working in allied health patient care, he completed the PA Program at Wake Forest
School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 2001. He has worked in family, internal, and
urgent care medicine since 2001.
In addition to taking care of patients with acute and chronic conditions, he teaches for Wake Forest and
Elon University's PA Programs. Scott precepts PA students in their clinical rotations and is a clinical
affiliate professor for Elon.
Outside of his practice, you can find Scott rockin' out playing guitar and taking care of his four
children with the help of his wife, Lauren, and their co-parent German Shepherd, Vader.
Kimberly Morton, MSN, ENP
Kimberly Morton, MSN, ENP, is an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in Greensboro, North Carolina. She has over
24 years of experience and a reputation for providing genuine care.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her
nursing degree and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas
Health Science Center at Houston (UT Health Houston) in Houston, Texas.
Kimberly’s medical background includes emergency medicine, family practice, and urgent care. She has a
vast knowledge of not only emergency/urgent care needs and treatments, but she is also able to manage
many chronic issues for her patients.
In Kimberly’s free time, she enjoys listening to music, attending musicals, wineries and the occasional
game of space invaders. She has an extended blended family with her husband Tommy of 5 girls, dogs, cats
and guinea pigs.
