AFC Urgent Care FAQs

  • How Antibody Testing for COVID-19 is Conducted

Sample will be collected through a blood draw. Antibody tests check your blood by looking for antibodies, which can show if you had a past infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. Antibodies are proteins that help fight off infections and usually provide protection against getting that disease again (immunity). Antibodies are disease specific. Once blood sample is collected, our team will send sample to the lab. Results will be available in 2-3 Days.

  • What to bring with you to your COVID-19 Testing

Bring Photo ID / Drivers License, Know Social Security Number or Bring Social Security Card, Bring Insurance Card

  • Why is COVID-19 Testing Important?

Testing plays a key role in our country's efforts to track and contain this highly contagious virus in an unprecedented time. By testing as much of the population as possible we can contact trace, provide data to healthcare officials, isolate infected persons to help slow the spread of the virus. If you visit our facility, you can also use the opportunity to get a flu shot vaccination.
