What services do we provide?
An immigration physical is a mandatory requirement for individuals applying for a green card or citizenship.
Unlike regular physicals, this examination must be performed by a USCIS Designated Civil Surgeon. Our
board-certified providers at AFC East Hanover have extensive experience in conducting these specialized

What happens during an immigration physical? What is included?

What should you bring to your immigration physical at AFC East Hanover?
When visiting our urgent care center for an immigration physical, please bring:
- Government-issued photo ID (Valid Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport)
- Your Form I-693
- Previous vaccine and immunization records
- Hospital records indicating prior treatment for infectious diseases
- Previous Chest X-rays and other diagnostic tests
- Any available mental health records
- Payment (Cash, Credit, or Debit Card)
How much does an immigration physical cost?
The pricing for an indiviual immigration physical will vary from person to person, depending on their vaccination
status, if they need further examinations, lab tests, x-rays, etc.
Will health insurance cover your immigration physical?
Most health insurances do not cover this service. We recommend checking with your insurance provider before your
visit.
