Cambridge MA Immigration Physicals at AFC Urgent Care
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires you to get a full immigration physical exam. This exam is to make sure you don’t have physical issues or mental disorders that may prevent you from being approved. Our physicians understand that USCIC doctors must follow the government’s strict guidelines and procedures for your exams. You can rest assured that your forms and report will be done correctly.
Your doctor will order a chest X-ray and blood tests. Your physical and mental disposition will be assessed through X-rays, blood tests, and diagnostic observation. In addition to your Form I-693, bring your medical and vaccination records for the doctor. If you don’t have proof of your vaccinations, you can request a blood test to prove immunization.

At AFC Urgent Care Cambridge Porter Square, our walk-in clinic offers rapid same-day care for busy college students. We're open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm, and are conveniently located in Cambridge's Porter Square, which is close to MIT, Harvard, Tufts University, Boston College, Boston University, Hult Business School, and Lesley University.

AFC Urgent Care FAQs

How long will the exam take?
AFC offers some of the lowest wait times around, with many patients getting in to see a provider in less than 15 minutes. Your exam will probably take around a half hour.

What happens if my physical reveals I have a medical problem?
We’ll complete your paperwork as required, but if it’s something we can help with we might be able to provide you with treatment on the spot. With in-house labs at many locations, you could be on your way without the need for a second visit.
