Find The Location Nearest Covid-19 Testing
We think you’re located in zip code 06516. Not Right?
At AFC Urgent Care West Haven, we perform a streamlined version of the immigration physical. Our Medical Director is a USCIS Designated Civil Surgeon, which means our center can perform the I-693 immigration(green card) physicals for all, including Department of Homeland Security, US Citizens and Immigration Services. The entire exam process can be conducted in our office. We have the capability to also, perform blood tests, TB tests and various other often needed immunization screens and tests in office, including chest x-rays if necessary.
Since the medical exam portion of the immigration process can take two to three visits, it helps to know what to expect and what you need to bring. To help you and your family, here’s what to expect for each of your visits:
First Visit
Second Visit
Third Visit
For more information or for questions pertaining to documentation please call us at (203) 896-7000.
Your doctor will order a chest X-ray and blood tests. Your physical and mental disposition will be assessed through X-rays, blood tests, and diagnostic observation. In addition to your Form I-693, bring your medical and vaccination records for the doctor. If you don’t have proof of your vaccinations, you can request a blood test to prove immunization.
AFC offers some of the lowest wait times around, with many patients getting in to see a provider in less than 15 minutes. Your exam will probably take around a half hour.
We’ll complete your paperwork as required, but if it’s something we can help with we might be able to provide you with treatment on the spot. With in-house labs at many locations, you could be on your way without the need for a second visit.
You can stop into any AFC, any time. Check out our list of locations to find the one nearest you.
