Dr. Singh is a dedicated, experienced and compassionate primary care doctor serving Fremont, Newark, and the entire Tri-City region of the East Bay. Dr. Singh listens carefully to every patient and is sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient’s situation. He adapts his consultations and treatment options to accommodate individual needs and concerns. He also wants to make sure that every patient understands the diagnosis and what needs to be done once the patient gets home. Dr. Singh speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu and can understand Gujarati Marathi.
Dr. Singh has over 30 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine and can treat patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics. Dr. Singh also has additional training and experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, which complements his occupational medicine and vocational rehab capabilities. Dr. Singh is a member of the American Medical Association and the California Medical Association, and is a life member of the Academy of Ambulatory / Urgent Care Medicine.
Dr. Singh received his medical degree from the University of Delhi, College of Medical Sciences in Delhi, India, graduating near the top of his class. He completed an internship in family medicine at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, India and a residency in Internal Medicine at the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University, in association with the Edward Hines, Jr. Veteran’s Administration (VA) Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Singh has lived and worked in many places in the U.S. and overseas. He recently moved to the Bay Area from Southern California. Outside of his practice, Dr. Singh enjoys travelling and learning about different geographies and cultures.
