How Common Are UTIs?

Around 60% of women and 12% of men in the United States will experience a urinary tract infection at some point during their lifetime.

While some people only experience a UTI once, there are people who can have recurrent UTIs, which are when a urinary tract infection occurs two or more times within a six-month period.
