- Get plenty of exercise.

Does Aging Affect Sleep?
Another healthy lifestyle habit you need to cultivate? Getting plenty of quality sleep.
As we get older, we need slightly less sleep, but should still aim for at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night. Insomnia becomes more common as we get older, but there are habits you can build to help you sleep better.
Ways to Get a Better Night’s Sleep
- Stick to a regular routine.
- Take a warm bath in the evening.
- Drink less fluids right before bed.
- Unwind with a book or by listening to soft music.
- Avoid afternoon naps.
