CMA - First introduced to medicine at age 12, Colton found his calling early in life. His interests in emergency medicine were sculpted while becoming an Eagle Scout, learning emergency treatment of severe bleeding and compound fractures in the wilderness. Interest became passion as he gained traction in EMS during Chemeketa Community College’s EMT basic program in 2013. Fascination founded in the ER lead to a career in Medical Assisting, and an opportunity to work alongside a team of providers he aspires to join. In the Urgent Care setting, Colton enjoys meeting new people, the great stories they tell, and the insight they leave behind. Outside his interest in medicine, Colton maintains a lifestyle of exploration and discovery with his wife Alexandria and their canine child Ferguson. Hiking, camping, and paddle boarding are a few favorites among various physical pursuits. When not outdoors, Colton can be found listening to music from the swing era, baking, and watching Disney movies on VHS.
