Location Continues to Mission to Make Quality Health Care Accessible and Economical
(August 21, 2015) Jacksonville, FL – American Family Care (AFC), the nation’s leading provider of urgent care and accessible primary care, is celebrating the grand reopening of its flagship clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Located at 13457 Atlantic Boulevard, the clinic started treating patients in October 2010. The clinic will reopen to the public August 26 at 11:30 a.m.
“We’re excited to continue fulfilling our mission of making quality health care accessible and economical with the reopening of our medical center in Jacksonville,” said AFC president Randy Johansen. “This location will continue to give us the opportunity to serve new and existing patients, by providing them with quality health care with extended hours seven days a week.”
The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce will attend the grand reopening and take part in a ribbon cutting. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the clinic, meet the local staff and AFC executives, and receive complimentary gift bags – including sunscreen and hand sanitizer.
Over the past 33 years, American Family Care has pioneered the concept of non-emergency room urgent care and expanded its footprint to more than 26 states. All AFC clinics are designed, equipped and staffed to provide accessible primary care, urgent care and minor emergency treatment. Each clinic features a high-tech, high-touch approach, including digital X-rays, on-site lab testing, state of the art diagnostics and electronic medical records. The clinics are staffed by kind, caring and compassionate health care professionals. Most clinics are open daily from at least 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and no appointments are necessary.
