Youth sports programs typically require their participants to undergo a routine physical prior to joining. This measure is in place to ensure each child is healthy enough to participate in physical activities.
Just before many of these sports programs begin, pediatricians get overbooked as a result of parents waiting until the last second to schedule their child’s check-up. Here at American Family Care, our board-certified physicians can administer physicals on a walk-in basis to ensure your child can participate in their sports season.
Our routine physicals include:
- Examination of child’s heart, eyes, nose, abdomen, lungs and ears
- Test flexibility, strength, balance and posture
- Reviewing of child’s medical history
- Measure child’s heart, blood pressure, weight and height
Our centers accept the majority of health insurances, which makes us the most affordable and convenient option for families. We look forward to helping your child participate in the sport they love!
